As a member of the Americas sales team, the individual will play a vital role in driving the design-in and sales of Power Integrations' power semiconductor products. This position focuses on the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, particularly Washington and Oregon, as the primary geographic areas.

The role entails providing technical support for both new and existing projects to OEM customers, with the aim of developing and expanding revenue streams at established key accounts and acquiring new clients. A strong understanding of the PI product portfolio, proficiency in using the PI Expert design software, and the ability to effectively present solutions that highlight the PI value proposition are essential. Deep comprehension of customer design requirements for AC/DC power conversion is also required.

The individual will report to the Field Sales Manager. Key Responsibilities: Act as the technical lead and primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and support needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to foster enduring partnerships.

Develop and deliver technical presentations and design solutions that align with customer requirements. Prepare technical proposals explaining PI's product features and benefits. Capture all commercial information, including application details, program names, volume projections, CM partner locations, and SOP.

Manage customer forecasts, compile sales reports, and provide updates on territory developments. Perform project engineering functions, including designing experiments, simple board layouts, and troubleshooting in the PI Lab. Provide pre-sales support to assure customers of product compatibility with their applications.

Offer post-sales support to aid in product integration or resolve any issues encountered by customers. Extensive travel, approximately 80%, required to engage with selected focus customers. Qualifications: Requires Electrical Engineering degree with power IC/power electronics focus.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in power electronics with an emphasis on power conversion topologies such as Buck, Boost, Fly-back, Forward, LLC, and PFC converters. Minimum of 2 years of experience in applications and/or design of end equipment using control ICs and power semiconductors.

Knowledgeable in the usage of various electronic test and EMC equipment. Strong presentation skills are essential. Ability to work and communicate effectively with all team members.

Time-efficient with the ability to support multiple active projects concurrently. Highly organized and self-motivated. Residency in the Pacific Northwest area is desirable
